It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

By: Webmaster|Date: Dec 2, 2015|Tags: School News

Our choirs and bands are practicing. Gingerbread houses are being built. Artwork is receiving the final touches. It’s the Christmas season at PCA. We love to celebrate the birth of our Savior with our festive Elementary and Secondary Christmas Fine and Performing Arts Evenings. The elementary evening takes place on Friday, December 4 at 6:30pm. The secondary evening takes place on Friday, December 11 at 7:00pm. The annual Sugar & Spice Gingerbread Competition will be on display during the secondary evening. We invite you to mark your calendar for these wonderful evenings, filled with music, drama and art.

The Fine and Performing Arts Booster Board is pleased to be sponsoring two great traditions at PCA. The boosters are selling poinsettias and greens for your Christmas decorating. For pick-up this Friday, orders must be placed tomorrow, December 2. For pickup after the secondary concert on December 11, orders must be placed by Wednesday, December 9.

The F&PA Boosters will also be hosting a Christmas Cookie and Hot Chocolate Bar. The PCA family loves to gather following concerts and this will be a special way to gather together and support the Fine and Performing Arts Department. Join us in the elementary lunchroom following the concerts, where you can purchase Christmas cookies for $6/plate and enjoy a hot chocolate bar for $1/cup. You won’t want to miss this special time with your school family!
